Lexington Checker Club - “free-for-all” checker day

Gary Wilson and Leon Creek continue to rejuvenate Kentucky checkers. They are planning to have a “free-for-all” checker day at the Lexington Senior Center on Friday, November 8th, 2013 ( 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), If you plan to attend, let Leon know by October 25th. (map) We had around 7-9 players attending our session and hope it will grow into a good group of players who enjoy playing checkers and want to improve on their checker skills. We are scheduling these meetings for every other month and perhaps monthly if we find enough players and interest. (good group of 9 players). You should confirm the date by contacting Leon. They now have nine players who are interested in supporting this Kentucky checker group effort, so if you are near by or in this area please get involved.
